Very Reluctant sale. low starting price. with a very reasonable reserve.
I purchased the car in 2012. the car has been completely made over. the original silver colour was faded. and the body work considering its age was in good condition however quite tatty with only surface rust to the arches and starting at the bottom of the doors. So i had the car resprayed Daytona grey which is used on the Audi R8. the interior has been completely re upholstered by 'Bernard Newbury' interiors and it is fantastic very simple as the original but new and fresh and of the highest quality the stitching is done brilliantly.  Every part of the car i have gone over and either replaced worn parts with new and upgraded certain parts. for example the headlights from standard Halogen to xenon headlamps. the suspension is now upgraded and lowered slightly. the sound system has been upgraded with blaupunkt speakers throughout as well as sound deadening the car.
The car has a complete respray which has been professionally done. the pictures really don't do it justice. in the sun and freshly waxed it looks phenomenal. it is without saying a real head turner.
The car has electric windows front and back. power steering and central locking. the car also has a sun roof. all of which are standard specs for the car. The engine is an inline 5 2. 0l and the sound it produces is great. the engine is longitudinal and right at the front. every gear with your foot down is great. the car really pulls and weighs nothing in comparison to newer cars. (please note this is front wheel drive and not a quattro. this has also not been ragged!) 
The car comes with extensive history from the bill of sale right up until present day. there are all the old MOT's servicing history and i have kept every receipt for every part bought and work carried out. the odometer shows 86000 miles. this is genuine and backed up with the relevant paperwork. for a 32 year old car. eyebrows may be raised at such low mileage however the previous owner had it for a substantial amount of time and hence the condition when i received it.  
The car is dry stored when not in use. it is very well looked after. there are only a handful of these cars in existence and this has to be up there as one of the very best. although some of the original features have been changed slightly. even for the most die hard of Audi followers will note that the changes are almost identical to the original and if not better. it is a very classy car and in my opinion perfect.
