1976 Ford Other Pickups

Up for sale is my 1976 Ford F-100. This truck is very unique in many ways.

Chassis/ Rear Suspension:

The chassis was professionally upgraded to replace the stock rear leaf spring suspension with a new computer designed triangulated 4 link suspension. Links are made using 1 1/2 inch DOM tubing and heavy 3/4 inch end links with new urethane bushings. new 5 inch Afco coil springs. new sway bar and link ends. Everything in the rear (see pics) was stripped and painted with two part epoxy chassis paint.

Front Suspension:

The entire front suspension has been rebuilt with new king pins. drag link. tie bar/links. shocks. sway bar. and all new urethane bushings.

The front chassis has been painted with epoxy as well.

Rear End:

The 9 inch Ford housing was modified and completely rebuilt with a new 4 pinion track-loc carrier. new 3:50 gears with all new bearings. new axel bearings. new yoke. new U-bolt kit and new universal joints.

Brakes:

The front (disk) and rear brakes (drum) are all new including hardware. emergency brake cables. wheel and master cylinders and brake lines.

Brake fluid is Dot 5

Transmission:

The C 6 transmission has been rebuilt. A 3200 rpm stall Street Fighter converter was added and there is zero miles on it.

ENGINE:

The Keith Craft Performance engine is a 351 Ford Windsor based engine that was bored and stroked to 419 cubic inches.

The rotating assembly consists of an Eagle 4340 crank and 4340 Eagle H Beam rods. forged SRP dished pistons.

The aluminum heads are part # RHS-35017-02 yielding 10. 2:1 compression. The valve train is Comp Cam consisting of . 575 lift hydraulic roller cam part # CCA-35-522-8. roller lifters and Comp roller rockers.

New 780 cfm Holley Street Avenger carburetor. new MSD Prop billet distributor and ignition. This engine combination makes very streetable and reliable power with tons of torque.

All upper engine fasteners are polished stainless ARP. lower engine have black ARP fasteners.

The engine has break-in oil with friction modifier added. There is only 4 miles and roughly 20 minutes of idle time on the engine.

Fuel System:

The fuel tank and sending unit are new. Mechanical fuel pump (rebuildable) and the complete fuel systems is all new including AN-6 on the inlet side and AN-8 on the delivery side. braided fuel lines and Fram fuel filter canister.

Exhaust:

The exhaust starts with BK headers into mandrel bent 2 1/2 inch pipe into a new large dual inlet/outlet stainless steel Magnaflow muffler. The exhaust note is awesome and very unique.

Since the chassis/suspension upgrades. new brakes and new engine. the truck has approx. 4 miles on it while testing.

Needs:

The truck needs interior and paint. The chassis under the cab needs stripping and paint.

The previous owner stated that the truck was professionally painted 8 years ago and while we were doing some paint maintenance to the passenger side drip rail and roof from sun damage last month I could see that the entire truck was indeed stripped down to bare metal and painted with epoxy primer followed by 2 K urethane high build buff primer then block sanded . which accounts for the super flat panels.

There was a gray sealer added prior to the single stage urethane Orange paint.

Wiring:

The wiring is 41 years old but everything still works. its just that the harness covering has seen better days.

The truck is in exceptional shape for its age with . there are a few minor surface bumps but no there are no rust thru areas or any significant rust that require metal replacement. Rockers and sills show no sign of rust. Driver door is excellent while passenger door requires a small bit of brazing to lower corner.

There are no exterior dents of rust. The condition of the bed is very good. actually its much better then its 41 years may suggest.

All the glass is good.

The air conditioning pump is remanufactured and it has a new clutch. We are including all the new parts yet to be installed. . door seal kit. wing widow seals. hood seal. wire harness cover and rain gutter chrome trim. Factory front window trim is excellent. There are 6 Quarts of Royal Purple oil and a matching oil filter also included.

The pictures are not modified and nothing was spray painted black to make things look new and shinny so what you see in the engine bay is what you get.

We're into this truck for $16. 00 in upgrades so we've set a low reserve of $8000 . buyer will get the truck and new tires for free.

I have all the receipts and related paper work. We have a clear title.
