If you are buying a Mini Moke and you are a collector. the only car you should be buying is an original British built model like this one. These are by far the most desirable. the majority of the Mokes were not built in England. but this one was.

The mini moke was originally designed to be used as an army vehicle for the British army. After initial reviews came back negative due to low ground clearance and no four wheel drive. these funky little cars were relegated to their current status as a cult-classic beach cruiser and summer runaround.

We thought long and hard about keeping this little gem as our “company car” to run around fuel at the race track and supplies at car shows. Alas. we don't get to go racing if we don't sell cars. so this one has made its way to the block.

Our loss is your gain.

This is not a show quality Moke—put that right out there. The paint is driver quality but fits the car wonderfully. Mokes rust very badly but this car is really quite good with only minor evidence of repair. Mechanically. the car was off the road (sitting not driving!) when we got it. We did a clutch. throw out bearing. water pump. thermostat and put new tires on it. Our mechanic has been through it and it is ready for the beach!
