1958 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight J2 88

I want to start off by asking you to please call for honest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet. come by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not be important to a buyer. Thanks.  
Also. please read the payment section carefully. I will not vary off of what is explained there. Cashiers checks may have hold put on them by my bank. My bank will give me a letter of how long the hold will be. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. The length of hold depends on the bank that it is sent from. Some smaller banks can take up to 10 business days. The car will not leave here until my bank says the check has cleared. No exceptions. That is why I like wire transfers and cash.  
This is a super nice Olds J-2 trip-power 2 door sedan. How many of these have you seen? 
Body: The paint is in very good shape. Shines very nicely. Very straight. All of the chrome and stainless steel trim is in good to excellent driver condition. The wiper bezels have a lot of pitting on them. but there are 2 spares that are in much better shape included. The drivers door glass is cracked. but there is a complete set of side glass ( all 6 pieces to replace both sides ) included. The only rust repair I have found is where the 2 rear passenger floor pans have been replaced. ( see pics ) The rest of the pans and body seems to be original and solid.  
Interior: The door panels are originals and are in good shape. The seat covers look like they have been replaced with factory exact material. or if original. they are in excellent shape.  Gauges all work. Headliner is very good.  
Drive line: It is running it's original 371 V-8 with the J-2 trip power option and jet away 4 speed auto magic transmission. Both have been rebuilt. The tires are brand new.  Exhaust in all new. Brakes are new. The car drives out very well.  
All in all. this is a very nice driver that gets a lot attention at the car cruise nights. It is not a Barret Jackson restoration so expect some imperfections. It is priced according to the condition.  
I will not give out my reserve price.  Please do not ask.

Now for the business end. I encourage you. or someone you trust or hire. to come by and check out the vehicle in person. I will refund your deposit if the vehicle does not match the above description. The vehicle does not leave here until all funds clear my bank. Bank and cashiers checks can take up to 10 business days. My bank will give me a letter stating the date when the check will clear. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. Bank transfers can take up to 2 days depending on what time of the day it is initiated on your end. Again. my bank will let me know when it clears. Cash is great if picking it up in person.
