Hi 
Beautiful 1979 SL 450 hardtop+soft top convertible. marvel engineering masterpiece needs a new caring owner.  

Highlights:
1. I am the 3rd owner. First two owners took such good care of this beauty and I continued the tradition.
2. Original paint. engine. transmission. Everything works great. Pictures speak for themselves of the condition of this car.
3. I have the original owner's manual and original service manuals.
4. New rotors and brake pads installed Fall 2014. Oil change Fall 2014. New Air filter Fall 2014.
5. New powersteering belt. fan belt. alternator belt Spring 2015.
6. New spark plugs installed Spring 2015
7. Safety inspection May 2016. I have antique plates. so no need for emission but it would pass with flying colors
8. OEM replacement parts that I have and will include with the purchase air pump. fuel pump. etc Original factory parts still functioning but I have them in case they need to be replaced ($800 value)
9. Front load CD player with LCD and remote (only aftermarket product installed in this beauty with high quality JBL speakers)
10. Mint tires with less than 10K on it

CONS:
1. Minor cosmetic defects which you would expect after 37 years with some parts that have rust issues
2. Battery has a switch that needs to be turned off so that it doesn't drain the juice while car is not in use.
3. Soft top has a small tear which is sealed with a black cobra tape. Hardly noticeable.
