Seller's notes: Running / Driving fine . was painted a year ago in same as original gloss black colour. chrome fairly good allround for age - back RHS bumper has some corosion visable in picture. drivers side front and rear elec windows not working but are fully up.some tears in floor carpet but have mats that cover them. glove box catch not working so screwed closed.

1978 Mercury Marquis 4 door Sedan for sale

Car is Driving well and brakes are good. New rear shock absorbers. Car is 20ft long and 6ft 8in wide. Was painted last Year and Garaged since. It is registered in IRELAND on an original Irish format number - Car was Brand new into Ireland . manufactured 1978 then shipped and registered new in FEB 1979 in Dublin ( First owners US Embassy Dublin - on original brown log book)
Car is located approx 15 miles west of Galway city in the west of Ireland. I am based in Rhode Island USA so dont get to use it much and want to free up some space in my garage - Im home next week for a few days so putting for sale here and hope to be able to do handover in person ( if not a friend can be available to handover if it sells)
Car is running fine and driving well . it is a 6. 6L V8 from the seventies so dont expect much above 10/12 mpg. It is not concourse but very presentable and has done a few weddings for friends. Gets thumbs up and turns heads anywhere it goes!
Deposit of 500 pounds on paypal immediately at end of auction required . alance Due in cash on collection or Paypal only. Final price will be the price and No haggling will be entertained after auction or in person on collection- I am aware the car is not in UK and travel cost is a factor for the buyer but please dont forget that if bidding! its  your choice to bid or not. distance is not my concern.
