1972 Ford Econoline E300 Clubwagon 
I bought this Econoline from San Jose in Califiornia as a secure way of transporting parts back to the UK.   It was not the sole reason as having owned a couple of Econolines in the past I realised this was a very well optioned van. and was also in great condition.
The obvious options include a factory fitted 351 V8 engine (instead of the usual 6 cylinder or smaller 302 V8 motors). Power steering. which is a real bonus on a large van like this and the heavy duty suspension and running gear package.    I am pretty sure it has a few other heavy duty features that are waiting to be discovered. suffice to say it is a bit of a beast.
The Club Wagon was a high end people carrier of its time. unfortunately it has lost the rear seats and was used by a flooring business for a number of years. but could easily be restored to the original duties or converted to an awesome Camper Van.
The van runs really nicely and is pretty much MOT ready - It is still 'tagged' for road use and was used on a daily basis.    As such it has been very well maintained and is certainly not a van that has been pulled from a field or sat unloved for decades waiting to be revived. I will probably aim to take it for the MOT in the next few days so it could well be ready to register.
Structure wise the van is totally rust free. extremely straight and highly original. It has been painted in the past but is presentable in a 'patina-esque' manner.   The interior as mentioned is limited to the two front seats and the rest is a blank canvas - work. pleasure or something in between ?
