Current customer rating: (520 votes ) based onAbout the car :
The body work: It has very recently had a lot of restoration work done as can be seen in the images used for this advertisement. The work included a full strip down to the bare shell. shot blasting to show any required body work repairs. i can tell you there were quite a few. a full inside and outside top quality re-spray from the original black to the metallic gun metal grey.
The engine: The original 998cc engine and gearbox have been changed (like for like) to a newly refurbished engine and gearbox 998cc this still has 8months warranty on it. also the carburettor had a little refurbish to make sure it was running as smooth as can be. The exhaust system is good as new i had a RC40 double box exhaust fitted as a like for like replacement and it gives a good sound that puts a smile on anyone's face.
The entire wiring loom is 3months old as it needed replacing so is like new all electricals working well.
All other mechanicals have been on the car since i have owned it and all are in good working order with no complaints. Subframes are in very good condition.
The interior: The seats are the original seats that were fitted as the original car is a special edition austin mini thirty in black. so i thought were worth keeping as they are in very good condition considering the age they are leather and very comfy. The steering wheel is carbon fibre and is removable which is a brilliant anti theft device. the dash is also a new carbon dash. there is three axillary gauges in the centre these are not yet connected up but they look the part at the moment. the roof lining and door cards are new in black leather and there is a new thick black carpet throughout.
Exterior taste tweaks:I have fitted 13x7 inch wheels to give the car that low down wide look. the lighting has all been changed to crystal so looks a bit cleaner and nicer. there is minimal chrome work as the car has had some seems removed as to de-bumper as seem in the images.
Road documnets: It was MOT'd on the 05-06-2013 so mot runs out June 2014Taxed until DEC 2013
All the other good bits and extrasA list of parts that i have recently used in the restoration of the car: 7x13 Black Satin Ultralite Extreme alloys and tires £382. 50
Miglia type mini wheel Arches £49. 17
Lightweight De-Seamed Front Panel £49. 58Carbon Fibre 13" Dished Mountney steering wheel £32. 92 Genuine Mountney Snap Off adaptor (removable steering wheel kit anti theft £36. 67
Black Roof lining £49. 58
Full scuttle panel for classic Mi£32. 50 New Full Black deluxe anti damp carpet set £29. 17 Crystal Jewel Headlamps. rear lam £45. 42 The list above are just the parts from huddersfield spares. There is also a carbon fibre dash that cost a few bob. and the other bits mentioned in the description such as the engine and wiring loom witch were not cheap by no means. So what would i do with it if i could keep it ?My next move would be to get some sportspack arches instead of the mglia style arches currently fitted. and have them paint matched and i would fit high/low suspension and beef up the other suspension components as these big expensive wheels have been known to put them under strain. This is a concern of mine as the car has had a randomly squeaky front wheel that sometimes squeaks when turning left since the wheels have been fitted. the other cheaper option would be to get smaller wheels and sell these and probably come off with a profit? But thats up to you now the lucky new owner. and you might just want to leave the set up as is and thats also fine.
The "badish" bits (all minis have these not major just stuff that i would want doing if it were to still be mine) has no CD player and speakers the axillary gauges need setting up the fuel gauge is temperamental seems you have more petrol going down hill the left turn squeak Rite then:I really don't want to say goodbye to this car but i have some more exciting experiences coming up and need a "bigger safer family car" or something like that i really have paid this car a lot of attention. and spent thousands on it. Please. only contact me if you want to place a serious offer i am open to you coming and seeing the car but not if you are just a tyre kicker. this is a sold as seen sale with no warranty as you would expect with a private sale of a vehicle. and i think its always a good idea to see what you are buying before you click that buy it now button even though i am sure you will love it as much as me.
Thanks talk soon Rich

Hi, I've got a classic mini of my own and am now it the process of choosing a colour, saw this little beauty come up on a forum I am on and loved the colour. So basically I was wondering whether you had the exact paint codes or a link to the colour and where you got it from.
Cheers Jamie.
