ESCORT MK1 1971 2 door

FORD ESCORT MK1 1971 1100. Maltese import. really good chassis. only a small plate welded because she fell of the jack and the axle stand punched a hole in it. pictures to prove. has had both front floor pans replaced. strut tops have been welded but not plated. the chassis number is still visible on the top plate. 1 plate has been welded on the near side of the strut top. a couple of plates on the underside of the floor. 1 on the inner sill and 1 next to the seat cross member. spare wheel well has been repaired. 2 plates on the inner wing where the battery tray was removed and 1 near the bonnet hinge. she only needs 2 outer sills and the petrol tank well sorting out. she has had a small prang on the front off side. half a front panel was fitted and it has left a small crease at the front of the inner wing where it meets the front panel. the bulk head is in good condition and only one small area starting to rust and the same with the door hinges. the seat runners have been removed and plated. the doors are solid and not rotten. wheel arches are going. the front edge of the bonnet has rust. the dash has been cut to accept a 6 dial dash. she is in very good condition for a 40 year old car and not a basket case British barn find. i would say she is like a 10 year old British car. well worth restoring
