The General Lee or Hovis as the car is affectionately known started out as a late 1975 build & registered in January 1976 Opel Manta "B" so its now just over 37 years old & on a "P" reg so its an early model.

The car was extensively re built & updated during 2012 by the previous owner and parts fitted as listed above. any rust was cut out & new metal let back in although it was in remarkable condition for its age.

It is a known Manta club fact that pre  (2 slot nose) 1982 Manta's tend to be more rust resistant than the post ( 4 slot nose ) 1982 "facelift" models that ran until 1988.

I bought the car in September 2012 through an Advert in the Opel Manta Owners Club (we're both members)

So the question you all want to ask is why am i selling it?

The answer is i have a chance to buy a Opel Ascona that i've always wanted otherwise i'd be keeping the car.

The car will be on view at the Bristol Classic Car show on Saturday 20th April parked outside Mendip Hall in the classic car park. just come to the Manta club stand in Mendip Hall & ask for Dave if you have any questions.

Viewing is welcome & the car will be going to other events during the next few weeks.

This car is a real head turner & sounds great with the twin 40's fitted.

Please be aware although this car is not concours it is Very good.
