For the true Mustang collector. here is a real deal car that will not disappoint. This fabulous R Code Mach 1 Mustang Factory four speed transmission matching the Marti report. The car was ordered at the dealer ship in Romano Ford INC in SYRACUSE in NEW YORK. The year 1969 was all about Total Performance and the completely revised Mustang range ) with larger bodies. quad headlamps and a more sharply raked windscreen ) boasted an extraordinary selection of powerful V 8 engines. The 428-cid engine. dubbed Cobra Jet. was rated at 335 bhp - a conservative figure that in all reality was more like 375 to 400 bhp - and available with either the close-ratio four-speed manual transmission or Cruise-O-Matic automatic gearbox. The car was built in Metuchen with a 428 - 4 V CJ Engine Ram AIR. with a Candy Apple red Paint with the blackout hood treatment. t had white Clarion Knit Vinyl Mach 1 Hi Back bucket seats. 3. 50 Conventional Axle Ratio and a Four speed close Ratio Manual transmission. New paint in a Candy Apple DUPONT . New white interior with new 17''inch American Racing wheels and tyres. The cars block is a 428 CJ and the heads are off a 390. The Holley carb is a 735 CFM from a 428 . Power steering and aircon piping . Had a full rebuild in 2010. Inspections are welcome.
