Current customer rating: (158 votes ) based on1970 Hemi Challenger R/T
You are viewing a beautiful restored Hemi Challenger. Originally purchased in San Diego. CA and spent the majority of its life there. Purchased in 96 by Kevin Boyle from previous owner in California with 56. 06 miles. The car now has 57. 40 miles. Kevin restored the car and was judged at the Mopar Nationals in 96 with a Silver Certificate awarded. The main reason the car did not get a Gold certificate was Kevin restored using tail pipes with tips. This was not available on original California cars. This was corrected after the Mopar Nationals. The car is exactly today as finished by Kevin after the correction was made. 634 miles have been driven on the since the car was finished in 96. The car was featured and cover car for Mopar Muscle in August 1997 issue. The car was also featured as a promotional car for Year One aftermarket parts company. The car has been well maintained and stored properly since then. Much originality to the car was retained due to being a very nice number 2 car prior to restoration. The car was also owned and part of the Otis Chandler Collection. As a rare blue chip collector car it is now ready for a new owner. With only 287 built as RT coupes this car represents 1 of 150 automatic Hemi RT coupes. How many are left today is unknown. but much less. Never abused or resurrected from junk. The car is a time capsule with much originality left throughout the car. Please refer to the last picture in this ad for the options ordered on this car.
