1964 Plymouth Super Stock

This is a relisting as I have been out of town and have been unable to end the first auction earlier. After 2 calls. I realized that I did not have a reserve on this car. but I do want to put one on now as I will not sell it to just the highest bidder. Ebay indicated to me that I should end the auction immediately and start over with a new listing which is what I have done. I have added a couple more pictures. especially the 3rd motor picture showing the carbs with bonnets. I have the original air cleaners which will be included in the sale. I also added a couple of items not mentioned before in the description. so please reread. I'm sorry if there is any misunderstanding about the original listing not having a reserve; however. as much as I want to sell the car. I do not want to just get rid of it. It is a very cool car and. hopefully. will make someone very happy to be the new owner.
This is a one owner. rust-free. rotisserie restoration remake of a 1964 Super Stock - not many originals left. In fact. there were not many black ones created. thus this car and color. This car has been only driven to car shows. along with one oil change and a new battery install. It has approximately 600 miles since the restoration and is an exact replica of an original '64 S/S Hemi. except for the intake manifold. The dual carbs are an inline setup instead of the cross ram for better running capabilities. It is equipped with a new 426 Chrysler Hemi crate engine. Everything on the motor is new. the exhaust system is by TTI and has ceramic coated headers. exact to the '64 S/S style. This factory crate engine was disassembled and rebuilt by Mancini Racing in Detroit. and is setup with dual 4 bbl carbs. a 4. 10 sure grip rear end. and a 4 speed manual transmission.
This Georgia car was 100% disassembled. all minor rust areas properly repaired. and the car was media blasted. acid etched. primed and painted with base coat/clear coat PPG paint. It is radio and heater delete. just as the originals had. along with correct single headlights. correct single windshield wiper. no back seat. and no side view mirrors. Along with race ready items. this car is equipped with Vintage American Mag wheels in front (these are originals and not reproductions). and steelies in the rear with extended bolts for racing slicks to be installed at the track. All tires are new and correct in size for the vintage appearance.
The interior is all new. the seats being pickup truck buckets exactly like Chrysler installed in '64. All gauges were sent out and re-calibrated. All plastic was re-chromed and detailed. A vintage Sun Super Pro tach was installed on the dash. and a vintage Stewart Warner temp. oil. and amp gauge was also installed under the dash. just like in the original cars. Both windshield and rear glass has been replaced. but all side glass is original and still has the original Chrysler logo. All weatherstripping and rubber has been replaced with new and fits perfectly.
The car has been upgraded to front disc brakes. along with new brakes in the rear. new brake lines. new fuel lines. new fuel tank. starter. alternator. and electrical wiring harnesses under the hood. All chrome trim was sent out and re-plated. and all stainless and aluminum trim were buffed and polished. All aluminum was de-anodized. repaired. and then detailed.
To replace this car today would be over $100. 00. but I will be accepting a lot less. I do have a reserve. so I will not just let it go to the highest bidder. I would like to sell the car to someone who can appreciate it better and drive it more often. This is the perfect replica of the cars that won at Detroit or Milan Dragway on Sundays and Chrysler sold on Mondays! It really is a race-ready car that you can enjoy and have fun with.
