here we have a rare treat for all you truck lovers. this is a very reluctant sale due to my current storage coming to an end. we have here a 1954 series 3100 half ton short bed pickup. running a 235 inline straight 6 motor. 4 speed manual on the floor. these trucks are becoming very rare here as they were produced for less than 2 years. truck came from the dry state of Texas. so there's no rust or rot on this one. i have restored her here to what you see in the pictures over a period of 2 years. i have done truck to my own taste which i think fits the 1950's era well. i chose to paint her in turquoise blue and cream which i have also followed on into the cab. paintwork is to a very high standard done by a professional. 8 coats of paint have gone onto her. paintwork alone cost me over 5 k.

in the rear tub lies 20 mm solid oak tongue n groove. complemented with stainless load strips . every nut and bolt on this truck is stainless steel. the undercarriage and chassis has been treated and the rails have been painted all the way along in 2 pk gloss black. the interior has not been overlooked on this beauty all been reupholstered and carpeted by a professional. the straight 6 motor runs like a swiss watch and purs along nicely. selects all gears fine. also stops well for a 58 year old. please bear in mind if you are not familiar with these old trucks the way they drive . its not like a modern day drive . shes 58 years young. i could go on about this truck but i'd rather you spoke to me and i'd be happy to answer any question you have. serious inquiries only please. as i have no time for time wasters. viewing is a must to genuine interest. i have more detailed pics on request. these historic trucks are tax free and have now become mot exempt. as i said this is a very reluctant sale due to loss of storage but if i find a new place to store truck i will be keeping it in the meantime. these old trucks are becoming an investment now and will only go up in value . agreed value on insurance purpose 18 k. i have started truck at a realistic guide price i think. shes ready to drive and enjoy and maybe take in a few shows. enough of me rambling now . thanks for looking . any serious questions contact me on 4 gaz.
