This truck was restored 2002. frame up.   In June of 1947 GM unveiled the "ADVANCE DESIGN TRUCK "   This half year model would have the transmission that came on the early models. 3-speed thru the floor. hand brake that extended thru the floor next to the gear shifter. and the gas tank would be located under the floor of the bed.
