1979 fully de-seamed Austin Mini Restoration project for Bodywork

 

This was my first car. which was fully de-seamed for me

in 1998.

It has new inner and outer sills. 4 new floor pans. rear valance and boot floor.

4 wings are flared to accommodate wide revolution wheels

Underside is solid. new rear sub frame fitted.

It has new carpets. bucket seats to front and back seats have all been re-trimmed . It has a black roof lining and tinted windows. It has a leather steering wheel.

It has a customized boot lid modified for recessed number plate.

Unfortunately I took it off the road a few years ago and stripped out all the windows and lights as the bodywork needed attention. I have all parts. These remain out.

The car has a 1275 engine. 4 speed syncro gearbox and Metro 4 pot calipers. The engine has been bored out to 1350 with a high lift cam.

Car drives well.

It has central locking and a Sigma Cat1 alarm immobilizer fitted

It has 5 revolution wheels.

The bodywork needs sorted as i planned.

I no longer have the time to carry out repairs and it is taking up room that I need in the garage.

A real eye catcher when finished!!
