I bought the car in March this year from a car collection in Southern Ireland. And have recommissioned it after 24 years careful storage.

The car was rust proofed when new and has had sparing use all its life so is mostly original.

The car is MOTed until August 2017 and the work carried out was the obvious things. flexible brake pipes. pads. a new front calliper and the other rebuilt. Track rod ends. upper and lower ball joints. steering rack gaiters. battery. tyres. alternator. oil and filters changed. fuel lines cleaned out. carburettor strip and tune. new Manual choke conversion. jolly good polish and clean etc etc…

There are a couple of jobs haven't got round to doing. water temp gauge not working. radio not working. only the rhs fuel tank has a fuel pump

The rear foot well carpets had a mouse enjoying them so are no longer there. all the other carpet is fine. There is also a small dent in the middle of the roof I dropped a ladder on it!!!!! Paint not broken though. I have not changed the gearbox oil yet either. All the other fluids changed.

The car was supplied new in Preston Lancashire and moved to Poole in Dorset at 3 years old. First mot 31974 miles the car was sold in 1987 and had a private plate transferred to it. The car sold again in 1989 and was issued with the number still on the car today.

The car has all its MOTs until Dec 1990 and at that time had covered 46463 miles

In 1992 the car was permanently exported to Southern Ireland but was never registered there. The car was stored in a large private museum until March of this year. It was stored well and started and moved around until 2 years ago. It was then left unattended but still under cover until I bought it and re-imported it to the UK.

It is now MOTed and in use. The car comes with all the owners' handbooks and the original Ziebart Rust proofing warranty. MOTs until 1990. tax disc until 1992. its import documents. And Jaguar heritage certificate.

To conclude. this is a very sound original car with low mileage that is now capable of regular use again. It should be a wise investment and a lovely old car for Sunday outings.

A recent house move has changed my car plans so it's got to go. You're welcome to come and see the car I live 6 miles north of Banbury in Oxfordshire my number is 07801 077017 I can deliver this car but will require a deposit and agreed  delivery fee   paid in full first.
