1973 Triumph stag . x Duke of Devonshire. This Triumph Stag was owned by the Duke of Devonshire . t's still has a coat of arms on the doors. I have the v5 registration document which has the Dukes name on it. The car was sold by Southerby's auctioneers at the Chatsworth house attic sale (the Dukes residential home) in October 2010 for £7115. I have the original receipt from Southerby's for this amount. also have a document stating that the Triumph stag was owned by the Duke from the trustees of Chatworth house. The Stag is shown 39147 miles which is possibly genuine. have old mot's from 2006 mileage shown 38358 miles. till 2010 which is shown 38459 miles. also have the vehicle mot history from the D. V. L. A. The car starts drives nice there are no noises. he car changes gears very smooth & the kick down works well. Paint & body. The body is in in good order for a car that is 43 years old !! The paint is in presentable condition for the age of the vehicle. "Please remember this car is a used 43 year old car. o please do not expect it to be like new". The interior is in a tidy order . arpets are compete & usable but could do with a new set. The soft top is in first class order. here is also a hard top which is with the car which is also in good order. The electric windows operate with ease.
