1940 Ford 1/2 ton pick up truck.  Very nice, straight, solid, zero rust, ALL STEEL truck.  Restoration was finished about 5 years ago.  It has the late model Ford 8BA Flathead motor with the matching 3 speed manual column shift transmission.  The truck was taken off the frame and disassembled.  The motor and trans were gone thru and freshened up.  The frame, suspension and running gear were all blasted and/or cleaned, primed, and painted.  A brand new wood plank bed kit was installed.  Brand new wiring, lighting, stainless steel tail light housings and license plate brackets.  Brand new staggered wheels, trim rings, and hub caps from USWheel.com with new staggered tires.  New bumpers, bumper brackets, hardware, moldings, emblems, hinge pins, side mirrors, etc.  The truck was done in hotrod satin black at first.  Then about 2 years ago, the body was disassembled again and the truck was painted Ford 'High Performance White'.  The engine compartment is painted satin black, and is clean and configured pretty much as it was from the factory.  The motor is clean and dry.  The electrical system was converted to 12 volts, which included a 12v battery and an alternator.  The truck also has an electric fan that works along with the oem mechanical fan to keep the motor cool.  The interior is clean and very good original condition.  It's basic, no frills, as it was back in 1940.  The truck runs and shifts very well, and drives straight down the road.  Brakes have very little wear, stop straight, and work as expected.I have set a very reasonable reserve price, so bid with confidence.  I will not disclose my reserve price, so please don't ask, instead, decide what your budget is, and bid what you feel the truck is worth to you.  Good luck and thanks for looking.
