I purchased the car in 2009 and built it to be my daily driver. I drove it for several years (during the summers only) and am now ready to sell it. The body is super clean! It was originally a San Diego car that ended up sitting in a barn for 25 years. The paint in the door jams and the trunk is still original. Most of the seals are original as well (I am not saying that they are in good condition. but that gives you an idea of what condition the car was in before being painted). The car is basically rust free. The only rust I know that existed on the car was around the back window. The paint has many flaws in it but the vehicle is very straight. Here are some of what has been upgraded:

Engine - it's the original 350. The motor was completely rebuilt by a professional engine builder 20. 00 miles ago. The cam was upgraded to a RV cam (mild). It has a March serpentine belt system. The AC was upgraded to R12. The intake is an Edelbrock as well is the 4 barrel carburetor. The exhaust is all stainless by MagnaFlow. The battery is an Optima and is less than a year old.

Suspension - The front and rear suspension is Detroit Speed (DSE). The front subframe was powder coated and fitted with the DSE speed kit 2. The rear is the DSE 3" dropped leaf kit. The steering gear is DSE as well. The car handles AMAZING! I can't say enough good things about DSE and the products they sell. The front brakes were upgraded to disc with an early Baer conversion kit.

Transmission - It is a Tremec TKO 600. It's a five speed. The 5th gear is an overdrive gear. The car cruises nicely at 70mph on the freeway.

Rear End - The original rear end was rebuilt. The gear ratio is a 3:73 and the unit is a posi.

Interior - The front seats have been updated with WiseGuy custom seats that include a shoulder belt. The material and style matches what was originally in the car.

Wheels - Foose wheels. 17's in the front. 18's in the rear.

The car is great daily driver that was built for reliability. By no means is it a show vehicle. Please let me know if you have any questions.
