1973 MG Midget for sale

Solid California car.   This is a sought after round wheel arch (only '73 and '74) driver with all of the modernizing to make it convenient. reliable and safe.   Its in great shape with under 40. 00 miles on rebuilt engine. and 1000 miles on restoration.   The 5-speed overdrive transmission and electronic ignition eliminates two MG weaknesses.   Almost every nut. screw and bolt has anti-seize.   Too much to list. but if Moss had it. this car probably does too.   Not perfect. but a great car.   Clear title.  

Rebuilt 1275. rebuilt duel SU carbs. electronic ignition. Flame Thrower coil and plug wires. oil cooler. 5-speed rebuilt Datsun transmission with Rivergate kit.   This also replaces the typically problematic rear engine seal.   New motor mounts.   New clutch. master cylinder and clutch cylinder.   Aluminum valve cover. chrome air filter.   New master brake cylinder.   All new brake lines and slave cylinders.   All new brakes.  

New fuel pump. Filter King fuel filter and pressure regulator (necessary for full SU efficiency).  New gas tank. gauge and fuel lines.   New exhaust. muffler and tail pipe.   New front lever arm shocks. new tie rod ends. all new polyethylene bushings.   New carpeting. interior. and wood Trophy steering wheel.   Bolted in roll bar (can be removed).   New top and cover.   Two car covers – one full car cover. one cockpit cover.  Original manuals included.
