1986 PORSCHE 944 Lux Turbo

1986 Porsche 944 2. 5 Lux.

I bought this car 2 years ago as a standard good condition 944 .

Solid black with black interior. Private plate. nbsp;sunroof (working). nbsp; power steering and elec windows. The car has some history (not a lot). 1 yrs MOT and 125. 00 miles.  

I then modified the car using many hard to get parts creating this car.

I have fitted new bushes throughout. nbsp;new clutch. belts and water pump head gasket 3000 miles ago. Recent new windscreen. CV boots x4. wheel bearings. bleed nipples. unroof gears. window regulator ect. ect.   The car is used daily and is 100% reliable and decent on fuel.

The original engine. i converted to factory turbo spec including pistons. nbsp;management. injectors ect.

I then fitted Linsey chips. a K26/8 turbo. 930 clutch. nbsp;3. 0 bar Fuel pressure regulator. albro 255 pump. nbsp;cone filter. uprated BOV. adjustable boost. nbsp;Turbonetics waste gate. (also have a shimmed factory gate) car will now be approx 330hp.  

Gertrag 5 speed (dogleg shift) from a 931. Full conversion with 924 turbo rear beam and torque tube with 944 arms and torsion bars. There is a Linsey speedo pickup to allow the 944 VDO speedo to work.  

Koni coilover MO30 adjustable front struts. turbo torsion bars. 26. 8mm front roll bar. nbsp; front steel lower arms. Brembo 4 pot calipers all round on 944 turbo early offset discs.  

Rear roll cage with bolt in diagonal. 964 Recaro electric/heated seats (mint condition from LHD) in Porsche script cloth. OMP steering wheel. period boost gauge mounted on centre consol. I will also include a period MOMO wheel.

Wheels are Azev A in early offset. 17x10 and 17x8. 5. the spare is a 964 lightweight item which fits over the brakes.      

924 turbo bonnet with NACA duct. nbsp; turbo rear valance. Porsche script handles. nbsp; genuine RUF badge on rear.

There is lots im sure I have forgotten but I will add as I remember. The car has also been in a couple of magazines.

The car is in very good overall condition. nbsp;not mint but very good. It has been used in all weathers and is 27 years old. so don't expect a show car.   Everything works. comes with original tool kit. sunroof bag and hand books.

Goes fast. stops fast. handles. decent on fuel and looks good.

If it doesn't sell for good money - fine I will keep it. I have no reason to sell other than would like a change.

Im more interested in PXs / swaps for similar classic German machines. Audi S2. Quattros. old BMWs ect.  

I expect I have forgotten things so any questions please ask. if you ask me silly questions like- has it ever been smoked in. will I swap for your Vectra tdi ect. there will be no reply.
