1987 Classic Mini City E 1275 -

Up for grabs is my much loved mini city e 1275. The car was fully rebuilt about 4 years ago. it had new sills. doors. rear end panel including valance. a whole new front end (flip front). new subframes. a full respray in kawasaki green. a complet interior retrim and a rebuilt 1275 engine from a metro. Tons of brand new parts were used in the build i have a folder full of reciepts and paperwork. The mini is still a 998cc on the logbook. so up to new owner to change. taxed until 31/08/13. MOT'd until 4/09/13.

Exterior:

Kawasaki green paint with black sportspack arches and roof. 13x7 deep dish supalite wheels in black. Mk1 style 'moustache' grill. AA badge sprayed green. Clear front indicator lenses. smoked side repeaters. Pressed black steel plates (original pates underneath). Jewel rear lenses. Aston filler cap. Twin DTM centre exit exhaust. Full hinged steel flip front. All the chrome brightwork is in exellent condition.

Interior:

Completely retrimmed front & back seats in black and grey. Front & rear matching door cards which are a complete one off. Chrome door furniture set. Chrome handbrake leaver & KAD gear knob with matching gaiters. Carbon fibre effect dash with rev counter and an additional 3 gauges which read battery volts. oil temp. oil pressure & water temp. All gauges are genuine smiths. Dash rail covered in black vinyl with grey stitching. Black carpet set. New black head lining. Black boot lining kit including panel on inside of boot lid.

Enging:

Rebuilt 1275 lump sourced from a metro. Single SU carb. Stage one head. Maniflow manifold. K&N pancake air filter. Blue rocker cover. Blue silicone hoses. High conductivity HT leads. KAD short shift kit.

Brakes & Suspension:

Servo assisted minisport 4 pot calipers finished in gold. 8. 4 inch discs. Goodridge braided lines. Standard rear drums. SPAX krypton gas fully adjustable shock absorbers. Quick steering rack.

ICE & Security:

Kenwood CD head unit (USB. AUX & Bluetooth). Alpine 6x9's in speaker board under rear seat covered in acoustic carpet. JBL 4" speakers behind vents in dash. JBL GTO 600 watt amp on rear shelf. JL Audio W3 12" 1400 watt subwoofer in a custom made box in the boot. Toad AI606 Thatcham category 1 alarm & immobiliser with 2 key fobs.

New parts fitted recently:

Slave cylinder. Throttle cable. Alternator. Battery. Fuel pump. Steering rack. Steering column. Wheel bearings.

Serviced only last week using Castrol classic motor oil. new plugs and oil filter. The brakes were also bled. The mini is also fitted with dixie air horns under the near side wing however they are not wired up. The mini has to be seen to be appreciated! It stands out from the crowd and attracts attention everywhere. Also comes with a taylored car cover and carry case.  No part ex's or swaps. Serious bidders only .
