For sale is my 1960 Desoto Fireflite sedan. I purchased it with the intent of making it a cool family cruiser but have just moved house and dont have storage for it unfortunately. It drives well with a nearly perfect motor that dosent smoke or fume . nd runs extremely quiet. Trans shift good and selects gears with no delay from the push button dash. It came with a leaking LHR axle which I have replaced with a new axle/hub assembly and fitted all new rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes. Brand new battery. Brakes have been bled but need redoing as they are a little spoungey. Power steering is noisey as it has a leaking top O'ring on the box and is sucking air but is an easy fix. Interior is very good apart from hoodlining but comes with a new one. Seats have been reupholstered. oor trims are good. Dash is all there with original radio and everything appears to work. ights. ipers. ven the original cigarette lighter. Comes with purchase paperwork and has full import approval. Tyres have almost brand new tread. Body has been redone apparently. around 20 years ago and is good but not show winning. Boot floor has been replaced but still has 2 rust sections I can see which need replacing near the back about the size of your hand. (easy fix in a weeked). It still needs a few shackle bushes and bits and pieces but would be an easy finish for club rego. Comes with spare moulds. lips. ater pump and bits and pieces. This would be a great cruiser. ust slam it. hrow on some pinstriping and have some fun. This thing has the coolest fins I have seen and when you see it in the flesh you cant help but luv it. This is a very regretfull sale and will be very sad to see it go. ut its to cool to let it sit in the weather and rot.  Email for more details. Some of you guys have been asking what size motor it has. believe its a 361ci but Im not 100% sure so cant promise anything. Im just going by spec sheets on the net. A 10% non refundable deposit is required at auction end and no it doesnt have to be picked up straight away. It can sit here for a while as long as its paid for. ut I would like it gone as soon as possible. You wont be able to drive it on a permit as I said the brakes are spoungy and need a rebleed.

Just be sure if you bid you buy or else. you time wasters have been warned
