This 1979 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville showroom. The 1979 Corvette has never been known for its performance as with all cars made in the late 70’s. Even the top of the line L 82 small block was only putting out 225 HP. The saving grace for these cars is they look absolutely beautiful. The body design. with its bulging fender wells gives the 2 seater a very masculine look. The emerald green paint is in extremely great condition. The classic rally wheels even have a shine to them which is unusual for these post pace car cars. You look in the back and begin to see what this car is all about. The full NOS bottle with the Corvette banner lay out across the top and it is all becoming clear. Pop the hood and an L82 numbers matching block sits right where it should be with the only difference being. so pretty much the only thing l82 is the block. Packed full with a set of Keith Black pistons and huge comp cam this small block is no slouch. Finished off with a set of Iron Eagle Heads and performer intake this engine was built to run. With a quick fuel 650 carb feeding the right amount of gas and of course the bottle of go juice plumbed up just in case this is one C3 that anybody can be proud of.
