VEHICLE DESCRIPTION
General
The car has done approximately 45. 00 miles with a huge amount of past MOT's on file & SORNS. with corresponding mileage to make me believe this car is a genuine 45. 00 mile RS 2000.
There is a history file with loads of receipts for money spent on the vehicle over it's life.
The restoration is believed to be carried out 2006. & there are a few trophies from shows it attended in 2006 & 2007.
The car has since been stored away.
History & Restoration
The car was found stored in a garage in a very solid original state. of which there is a photograph on file.
Before the restoration various photo's where taken showing that the floor pans are the originals & where in a solid complete rot free state before restoration.
The shell is the original shell.
Again photographs on file show that the front panel was the place to suffer most rot & was consequently replaced.
The front wings seemed to look fine however where replaced at the same time as the front panel.
Repairs where done to the nearside front inner wing & also the back arches received repair work.
Apart from that the entire shell is original & complete as it was found in the garage.
Currently has a 5 speed box. single prop & fast road cam.
The engine was totally rebuilt during restoration including new cam.
This car has come from an avid RS collector. of which 3 cars where purchased from him to include a low mileage XR 3 & a Fiesta Supersport.
