The exterior and frame are in excellent condition after a restoration prior to my ownership. There is a tiny bit of rust near the cowl and on the back corner near the spare tire. The floor and frame is without rust.
This FJ drives well and will cruise at 70 without issues on the interstate with the 350 Chevy conversion. I had front caster shims placed to make the stearing rock solid. I have converted the front drum brakes to Man-a-Fre disc brakes. The water pump and radiator were recently replaced. It has had a complete tune up and and regular oil changes. The tires are new in the last 6 months as you can see and are in great condition. It also has front and rear speakers attached to a new sony stereo in the glovebox. Barely a day goes by where I don't get a thumbs up or an inquiry from a passerby. This is a great looking truck for the FJ enthusiast and needs very little done to make it show worthy.
