This listing is for a "barn find" Land Rover Series 109 Diesel. The vehicle was first registered in 1976 and is tax exempt as of 1st April this year. The vehicle has been off the road since 2012 and dry stored since. The engine bursts into life without heat and the vehicle drives well. The gearbox changes up and down easily and there are no unpleasant noises from it. The brakes are a bit weak but still work. You may test drive the vehicle if you want (subject to viewing your driving licence) to test the steering and other features too. There are some areas needing attention. These are the rear cross member (common fault). minor work to the bulkhead. improve the brakes. replace some suspension bushes and sort a few electrical issues.

The good points are. the interior has good deluxe seats on sliding seat rails (not fixed plain cushions). great undamaged dash top. generally good dash bottom and clocks. very straight bodywork. BFG All terrain tyres. great engine. good battery. front and main chassis rails are good. only 47. 48miles from new. The last MoT was in 2012 and the vehicle has only had five owners from new. The tyres are we think good for an MoT and are all BFG All terrains but obviously this would be subject to an inspection. There is also a Dixon & Bate pin and ball combination tow bar fitted.

This Land Rover also features a Centre Power Take Off which is a rare thing to find on any Land Rover. This means there are several options to power additional equipment from the engine via the gearbox. The PTO is operational and we have uploaded a video of it operating on our website.
