Hi. br>Please find for sale our much cherished Bond bug 700ES.
It has been in the family since 1996 and is used by mother in the summer months.
Unfortunately she is now getting too old to use it often. and has decided to part with it rather than just leave it standing.
It has always been garaged whilst in our care. and has recently been driven to central London for the purpose of selling it.
It is a classic Orange 700ES. with MOT that is valid until October 2013.
It is classified as a classic vehicle and thus has free tax also.
The car is of good condition for a 43 year old car.
The good1) Full service over the winter. including carburettor tune (including clean and jets). new belts and full cylinder head strip and rebuild. dynamo rebuild and clean out of cooling system2) Recent MOT ensures chassis is in good condition with no visible rust. trong brakes front and rear (including rebuilt master cylinder). rebuilt clutch master cylinder and electrical rewiring. 3)Resprayed by Bond Bug specialists in 2000. 4) Starts and drives well. a test drive is highly recommended!5) New battery and all original drive train. including engine. cylinder head. dyno. gearbox
The Bad1) Some of the paint shows signs of cracking and sun exposure. easily repaired by any body shop2) The car idles a little high. Our mechanic had set it up as such to ensure it doesn't stall.
Overall. this is an easy summer project for the right person. it needs some TLC to be in A1 condition but most importantly it needs to be driven to get it back to its best.
It could just be enjoyed as it is by the new owner.
Low reserve as we are looking to sell it by end of auction.
I will post more detailed pictures of the body work soon.
It is advertised else where so reserve the right to end the auction early.
