517 UYG was first registered 1-11-1961 so is now 55 years old and of course tax exempt. Although there is not a lot of history from its early years there are plenty of old MOT's (12) and invoices from more recent years with over £3500 in invoices. The mileage is showing 62. 00 but can't be warranted. In 2001 the MOT showed 50. 82 miles so only 12. 00 miles in the last 15 years. The car was restored. re-painted and the engine rebuilt. The floor pans and sills have been replaced and a new coat of paint applied. There are expensive heated windows fitted both front and rear along with new rubbers. The brakes have been uprated to discs along with new pipes. pads and cylinders. The other mechanical components were replaced or rebuilt as necessary. There is also a full stainless steel exhaust system. The white paintwork is general very good with a few imperfections here and there. There's chrome headlight peaks. chrome wing mirrors and chrome door mirrors to add a little bling and shine. 4 good chrome hubcaps with black Morris 'M' letters in the middle look great. The interior is excellent with red seats and door trims and a new red carpet set. 4 inertia reel seat belts have been fitted to give safe driving. There is a new set of Bridgestone tyres and the handling has had an electronic alignment set up. The car drives and stops very well. I drove the car home myself some 100 miles without a problem.
