1966 Corvette 427/425.   Nassau blue exterior. bright blue interior - original colors for this car. Four speed close ratio. Hurst shifter. side exhaust. teak steering wheel. whitewall radial tires on stock wheels and hubcaps.
I have owned the car for about 14 years. accumulating about 5K miles in that time. I bought it from a Corvette specialist dealer in Arizona; it was titled in California before that - and he bought it in Texas in 1983.
The rear half of the car (underside) is restored. everything as new and correct. The front half of the car is just as I received it. little changed except for a new radiator core. Also. the entire brake system is now replaced/restored; new booster. rotors. restored calipers. parking brake. all S. S. lines. etc.
A previous owner applied the paint. re-chromed bumpers. etc. The color is accurate and well done. A couple paint chips need fixing (see in pictures). Overall the body is excellent. Areas that are often cracked from age on Corvettes. look good on this car. I have looked all around from underneath and have not found any evidence of old accident damage.
I have pictures of the car dating back to the 1988. including pictures taken during painting which show the body bonding lines all around the car. It is a no hit body. a solid original car.
The frame also looked very good in the back during the refurbishment. For example. the body mounts that are often rusty are very solid on this car.
The interior shows some use. looks good overall. Seat covers excellent. Carpet is in decent condition. but faded in some areas. Convertible top good condition. Clock works. but after 14 years I now must tap on the clock once after it sits for weeks.
When I bought the car but it had no 1966 electric radio antenna. or switch. so I installed the proper antenna and OEM dash control switch. Only later did I track down the California owner. who told me it was originally a radio delete car!!  He was surprised to hear about the car's radio. The Ariz owner. previous to me must have installed the radio. That would also explain why there is/was no ignition shielding. The 1983 photographs I now have. clearly show a plain dash panel. no radio. I guess it could be changed back.
Runs and shifts beautifully. The engine block is dated 1968 and is a CExxxxxxx (Chev Engingg) warranty replacement block. Runs on pump gas. Tube headers. the exhaust is a bit loud. but it sounds fantastic. Just sitting in this car and hearing it start is a thrill and raises a huge smile.
Added :   I am told now that the NCRS does not deduct points for "CE" engine blocks - CE meaning "counter exchange" - these being warranty exchange engine blocks within the 3yr/36. 00 mi warranty.
