This is 1963 Replica of a Austin Healey 3000 Designed by Classic Roadster of Fargo. ND. The body and frame was built in 1987 but was not assembled and titled until I purchased it two years ago. I sanded and repainted the frame and then assembled the suspension system with all new parts. New upper and lower control arms. new front springs. new rear springs. The rear axle assembly is a Mustang 8" posi-tract. The front brakes are brand new 11" disc brakes that are drilled and slotted (see pictures). The rear brakes are 10. 5 " disc brakes that are drilled (see pictures). The master brake and booster system is brand new and from a Corvette brake system. All new brake lines and fuel lines. It has heavy duty front and rear sway bars. This car tracks straight. corners flat and stops on a dime and gives you change!
The engine is a Ford 302 that's is a brand new rebuild. It is bored . 30 over. a mild cam. the heads are ported and polished with oversized intake and exhaust valves by a professional machine shop in Indianapolis (see the pictures). It has roller rocker arms. Edelbrock aluminum 302 Performer intake with a new Holley 4160 chrome carb. The transmission is a Mustang 4 speed. Long tube headers are wrapped in titanium exhaust wrap. The wiring is a custom brand new wiring harness by Quik wire with standard breaker panel. All lights are new. The instruments are all new and the instrument panel is a beautiful burled wood dash (see the pictures).
The chrome is all new. The grill is a real Austin Healey 3000 grille that has been rechromed. The top is brand new. The rims are Mustang rims with new Pirelli high performance tires. The interior is brand new and beautiful. This car is fast and fun to drive.
