Toyota Mr 2 Mk 1 A 1986
Bought this car to restore but since got offered a white T-Bar Mk 1 B which was my first choice.
Good points. Early mk 1 Mr 2
Engine good. sounds smooth
82. 00 miles - mostly documented service history stamped
Interior very good condition
Car seems solid underneath. removed boot lining and trunk lining and solid
All electrics work
Mk 1 A alloys in good clean condition

Bad points. All wheel arches are rusted
Paint has faded. rubbed t cut on and comes up good but will need paint
Changed oil and plugs to fire up. started and ran great but fuel pump must be blocked so cut out shortly after. add fuel manually and fires straight up again.
Clutch seized
Drivers door won't open
Brakes. although all wheels turn freely will need a good sought out. (I have new discs and pads all round if you wanted to buy them)
bonnet has couple of small dents. as does doors.

None of the above really bothered me as I build these as a hobby but please bare in mind this will need a lot of work to complete.
The interior is brilliant and would have kept car just for that but white MR 2 is the later version B.

Car will need to be transported but I have a guy who collects these for me and is very reasonable and quick. let me know post code and can give you cost.
