Current customer rating:
previous owner was in the process of a correct restoration when he passed away.
the body (car) was removed from the chassis and both were media blasted.
There being no indication of rust or accident damage. the frame was sealed and painted.
the body was painted and clear coated. except for the passenger door. spare tire covers and the hood panels.
The head light and instrument gauges were professionally restored as well as the stainless steel trim.
I have all the glass. new factory wiring harness. window frames. Six: Auburn eight hubcaps and four s. s. beauty rims.
The hub caps are in need of restoration as they are very difficult to obtain.
The drive train and engine were (reportedly) rebuilt.
I have several parts and most everything except upholstery.
I obtained the car from an estate sale.
It is reported that the estate administrator was unhappy with the progress of the restoration and removed the car for sale.
the car is equipped with a columbia two speed rear end.
I have not started the car as there is no wiring .
The engine appears to be correctly restored except for the color.
turquoise is correct for a rebuilt six.
the correct color for a rebuilt eight is the factory green.
I do not know why the pass door. hood and tire covers were not painted.
There is a small pin hole of rust in the bottom of the pass door.
The door has been media blasted as well as the spare tire covers.
Started to water blast the hood parts and detected movement in the metal and stopped.
It will need chemical stripping and sanding.
I bought it to make a hot rod out of it until I discovered the value and rarity ( less than 300) of the car.
I have three other cars I am working on and have decided to sell.
If you have any questions please contact me and I will gladly respond as soon as possible.
