Testing the water on my newly bought 1959 11 window bus 

It's not something I wanted to sell really as I searched hi and low for the best early bus I could find in my budget and drove a few hundred miles over the last 3 months looking at them but due to finding there's no OG mango green paint under the White I think it would suit someone who's interested is a fresh paint resto or is happy with blending the repairs in to the awesome patina that you see now.  

It's a 1/10/59 German built bus with 6 opening windows from California.
Mango green/seagull grey from new (mango underneath bus and inside still)
All doors and panels are original to the bus and has never been welded before.
It's got all its sigla glass apart from the front door glass 
All handles there apart from the tail gate T handle 
it's got is Original rear glass hella lenses fitted (cracked)
Original front badge
Front Original bumper 
Rear bumper with the van but not original to the bus
Bullet nose front end 
High Hidge cargo doors 
Front 15" crows feet wheels (original to the bus)
Rear wheels are buggy wheels fitted with spacers 
Awesome original clock with clear needle 
Uncut dash 

The bus over all is great and one of the best I saw for the year condition wise.
front panel doesn't need touching at all.
it will need welding as they all do but not a huge project and not the normal lower 6" of the bus.
I can give you a rough idea of what needs doing but is only a guide.

Roof edge repair over the cargo doors.
cab floor.
Cargo floor edge repair 
Inner and outer sill repair (cargo door side)
1x jack point
1x rigger 
Long sill patch repairs (great mettle still left on that side)
both bottoms of the front dog legs 
Front door repairs 
1x inner frame bottom on 1 cargo door
Inner front panel patch repairs 
Rear arch infill panels (cut out a little to clear the wide wheels)


That's the main bulk of the work so over all it's really not a bad bus and is very straight for an early bus.

The bus is in Shropshire and can be viewed when ever suits 

I think it's fair to say it's a great bus and if no one wants to take it of my hands it will get done by me either way and make a very hi value bus. I'm open to a swaps deal with cash on top for an Original paint small rear window bus.
