EXTERIOR
The Oyster metallic paint looks fabulous throughout and really suits the facelift XJS well. The bodywork remains to an excellent corrosion-free standard and appears virtually unmarked all over; this is also true of the brightwork and rubber trim. There are very few stone chips to the front end. with the light clusters free from any cracks or moisture. The Jaguar is equipped with a rear spoiler and benefits from the desirable five spoke alloys.

INTERIOR
Opening the driver's door reveals the luxurious Doeskin leather upholstery. The radiant interior is well appointed in leather and walnut veneer. and appears in excellent condition through and through. The heated and electrically operated front seats show only minimal signs of use. while the rears remain absolutely pristine. The dash is also pristine and the carpets throughout are unmarked. as are the door cards and headlining.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
With just 34k miles to its name the 5. 3-litre V12 remains in great mechanical fettle. and has just been freshly serviced. The engine bay is well preserved and is certainly consistent with a car having covered so few miles.

Power is transferred to the rear wheels via the three-speed automatic transmission. which provides a surprisingly refined drive. As to be expected the engine pulls effortlessly and the gear changes are smooth.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The Jaguar sits on its original set of five-spoke alloys. The 16-inch wheels are finished with polished faces and really look the part. With only the tiniest of imperfections to note they present extremely well. and are shod in a matching set of Michelin tyres with at least 6mm tread remaining.

HISTORY FILE
Manufactured in late 1991 this facelift XJS was imported into Japan in 1994 where it remained until April this year. Having seen little use in the last 25 years the car has now covered just 34k miles. Since arriving in the UK all duties and taxes have been paid. Most recently the vehicle has been fully inspected. serviced. and MOT'd.
