1971 Oldsmobile 442 Supreme SX for sale

The "SX" model was produced for only 2 years. 1970 and 1971. All SX Cutlasses were equipped the same as 442's. just were labeled as SX models to avoid the surcharge instituted by insurance companies on muscle cars toward the end of the muscle car era. The SX is a very rare model most of the public was unaware that the model existed. so very few were produced. The original build sheet is included with the car. which is its birth certificate. proving the originality of this vehicle.
I am the third owner of this magnificent Cutlass "SX". It is perfect in all ways--no exceptions. no excuses. it is PERFECT!! It spent its entire life in the dry southwest until I purchased it and brought it east a few years ago. It has been garaged and pampered its entire life. Other than one high quality re-spray of the original color. everything is original. Low miles. under 108. 00 original. It is equipped with the Y 79 SX Performance package: L 32. 455 cu. in. . 4 BBL engine. M 40 automatic transmission. power steering. power disc brakes. air conditioning. and other power options--everything is in outstanding original condition.
It starts. runs and drives as new: no noises. leaks. smoke. etc. The body and frame are unbelievable all chrome. stainless and glass are perfect. No rust or body damage. EVER! Look at the pictures. especially the underside--not even the slightest surface rust. Looks like it was never allowed to get wet. The interior seats. dash. headliner. everything. perfect and as new.
This Cutlass SX is as close to being a new car as you could find. Has won trophies every time I entered it in a show. I would never consider selling any of my Cutlasses. but old age and poor health necessitate selling my collection of Cutlasses.
