is off a friend earlier this year who had decided to reduce his private collection down. He bought the car in 1986 and its basically been sat in a heated garage since then. Prior to this. the car had only 2 previous owners from when it was registered new in 1953. The car had been in storage since the late 90's as it had overheated and was just parked up and left so as expected when we came to start it we didn't get very far.

Engine / Running Gear: The engine has been full re conditioned. Reground crank. new modified shell bearing con-rods. new pistons. new oil pump. new timing chain. all valves re-seated. new modified adjustable tappets & finally repainted in the original engine colour. Runs sweet as a nut. It's had a reconditioned radiator. starter motor and dynamo. All new oil & filters aswell. It's had a new exhaust. It's also had a brand new battery. I have all the invoices for the parts. the majority bought from small ford spares who specialise in classic Fords. There are invoices for well over £1200 for parts alone never mind labour.

Bodywork: The body is what's to be expected of a 1953 car. To be fair it is in fairly good condition and has cleaned up well. I've ran over it with a buffer to get the majority of the muck off and hopefully the pictures show enough. It is definitely by all means solid but it does obviously still maintain that 'patina' being 63 years old. It's definitely something that someone could take on themselves. It's a very clean. honest example of what it is and it certainly won't look out of place where ever it goes. For more in depth answers just send me a message. It's all very solid underneath and has been lightly stone chipped.
Interior: The interior is in really nice condition again considering the age of the car. Its all original and cleans up really well. The seats are all in good condition as are the door panels and interior trims. I've tried to give people a good idea with the photos. All in all this is an excellent opportunity to own a fast appreciating classic. It gets attention everywhere it goes. and there is only one way they are going value wise. The fundamentals of this car have been completely overhauled. and it is ready to tinker with and enjoy. As this description states this has had over £1200 spent on it on parts alone. so if you are looking for a reliable example ready to enjoy & play with. this is the one.

I can deliver the car anywhere in the UK for an agreed price. All funds including the car must be cleared before I will deliver the car. I would not recommend driving this car away unless you are local due to the nature of what it is. They are not the fastest by any means and are certainly not designed to cope with modern traffic.
