Car History:

The car being offered started out as a 1989 Porsche 944 Convertible and was built by Porsche tuner Maverick of Advanced Systems and Performance (ASAP)

It has salvage title because the original 944 non-turbo engine blew and the insurance company salvaged the car. The original owner bought the car back from the insurance company and swapped in a 944 turbo engine.

There is absolutely no frame damage on this car. You can have a Pre-Purchase Inspection done on the car to confirm this.

After the 944 Turbo motor was swapped in. it has only been driven 828 miles which is indicated on the new gauge cluster. The mileage on the chassis is 114. 85 miles which is indicated on the Title.

The car was built by Porsche tuner Maverick Marsalis of Advanced Systems and Performance (ASAP). There is an official plate in the car indicating the serial number and build date of 12/02/2008.

The interior is wrapped in L/V leather. however I do not have documentation on the authenticity.

The car was purchased by a Porsche collector from an auction of Maverick Marsalis' personal collection back in 2012. Since that purchase date. the car has rarely been driven and has been garaged the whole time.

The car still drives strong and is mechanically sound. The engine fires right up without any hesitation. The clutch and transmission are also mechanically sound and shift smooth.
