This is my 1941 Buick Special Sedanette which I purchased out of California in early 2010. due to another project taking precedence I regrettably have to part with her. This car is an amazing true survivor in superb condition for its age. Below is the ad from the previous owner I purchased it from in the US which gives more information.

This car was originally sold to Mrs Blanche Johnson of Topeka Kansas in June 1941. just months before the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Always garaged. she used it sparingly. what with the fuel stamps and rubber shortages at the time. The engine is the original overhead valve straight 8 cylinder. 52. 00 honest. original documented miles from new. I am the second owner. The Buick was repainted some years back. and aside from that is a bone stock original car. Even the windshield plates are the GM installed factory originals. New tires with an old bias ply spare in the trunk. Mechanically very very sound. runs and drives excellent. Everything works as it should. I bought the car from Blanche Johnson's estate and drove the car from Kansas to Visalia. CA. in 2006.   NO RUST. With seat covers having been installed not long after the car was new. the 71 year old original seats are nearly flawless. Lots of original manuals and paperwork with car. along with the trunk tools. jack. etc. Only selling because I need the room in the garage.

 The photographs were taken on Sunday 25/11/12 at the All American Day at Lakeside Raceway. Brisbane. The Buick sat effortlessly on 60 mph (100k) on the freeway. it drove and stopped as it should. nbsp;and was a pleasure to drive. This would be an ideal car for someone interested in getting into the classic car movement - it's an easy car to drive. can keep up with highway speeds. and is surprisingly economical. It has beautiful lines. is a real head turner. and seats 6 comfortably. Parts are easy to source out of the US. at great rates.
