1965 Ford Mustang Coupe for sale
Current customer rating:
Reduced price - lovely example of a true classic.
Low reserve.
This Mustang turns heads wherever it goes. drives great too!
Originally a California car. I went out there to buy and drove back to Texas 1 mths ago - there is no rust anywhere.
Shelby GT alloy wheels.
Paint is 'Mocha chocolate brown' - almost black. but nicer.
Interior tastefully restored. body work is clean. there is a tiny amount of paint chipped on the corner of the rear drivers side. but barely noticeable when viewing the car.
I bought this car for $16 k 18 months ago and since then have invested around $6 k. I have receipts for all work done.
The engine block was replaced before I bought it with a 302 ci V 8. the best block Ford ever made in many peoples opinion.
The top-end / valve heads are still the original 1965 ones - stamped with the year.
This 302/289 combination and 4 bl Edelbrock results in additional torque. and makes it a lot of fun to drive!
Transmission is original C 3 automatic.
A/C system has has recent R 134 a conversion with rebuild of electrical components in knee-knocker.
Rare to find a '65 with A/C. I know from looking for so long nationwide!
Engine work:
- Carb rebuild. reset float levels back to manufacturers specs
- New spark plugs and wires
- New Starter Motor
- New Red Top Battery
- Sun Tek CXP Window Film installed all round
- New Stereo: Polk Audio Speakers & Bluetooth Amp
Trunk area is clean. no rust. good spare tire and tools.
This is a case of needing to sell rather than wanting. happy bidding.
