This old girl has no secrets. no repairs and sits in her original paint… So many people try and do fake patina but finding a car with real patina and no rust is a real delight and that's exactly what this Brookwood wagon is. So once you find that perfect car to start with then you have to make it drive again and that takes some time and money and this one has been done. The front end was removed. original engine and trans tipped out and a new 383 small block Chev with dress up kit and dual quad carbies fitted along with a new 4 speed 700 R automatic transmission. The radiator support panel and inner guards where replaced with brand new clean sheet metal. new disc brake conversion for the front installed. new exhaust and a new fuel system to get all the driveline back up to speed and beyond… all this has done little more than 800 miles since. Inside she was dry as a bone. perfect solid floors but old and tatty so a new set trim kit was installed. new door panels. new headliner and all new carpets from the kick panels the cargo area to complete the look and tidy this old cruiser back up. She's also just had all new king springs fitted to lay her out to the appropriate ride height and is now looking for her new owner. $39. 00 buys this bad girl as a new import.
