1981 Toyota SR5 4x4 truck pickup EXCEPTONAL NEW ENGINE/Transmission/Paint

THIS MAY BE YOUR LAST CHANCE ! This will be the nicest unmolested Toyota 4x4 pickup truck you will ever see on Ebay.   I have watched for several years many Toyota trucks come and go on Ebay none comparing to my jewel.   I am forced to sell due to surgery and job relocation.   I have always taken care of all 4 of my vehicles. 3 of them being from the 1980's era.   I am the third owner knowing the previous two other owners.   My good buddy Jimmy bought this straight off the Bakersfield (spent its whole life here) show room floor back in my graduating year of 1981.   He had knee surgery and no longer could drive a stick.   He sold it to my best man in my wedding. Craig.   Craig added the tires and wheels and in 1990 I begged him to sell it to me.   I was lucky and he granted my wish.   I have done so much to this truck that I know I will forget to list something.   I do have most all the receipts that I will provide showing the work that has been done.  This is a one of a kind clean TOY! HERE GOES!

-Remanufactured engine (Oregon engines) installed 9/8/2010.  All new gaskets and seals done at that time as well.  Toyota L52 4x4 trans installed 5/14/09.  Paint re-done for the first time 3 summers ago(original color).  All belts. hoses. radiator. all ignition parts. and starter replaced with the new engine.   The carburetor was rebuilt to California smog standards with replacing some of the original smog parts.   The carburetor rebuild with the smog parts cost me over 800. 00.   I have receipts for all the above.   More recently. the smog pump was replaced as well as the clutch master cylinder.   Brakes were gone through a couple of years back.   The interior:  new carpet kit. rebuild of bucket seats. new dash pad.   New shocks all the way around including stabilizer.   This truck currently since the engine install has only 5. 54 miles put on it since 3120 of those miles were done from the months of October thru March.   I have not driven the truck since my Jaguar was hungry for the road.   My job was only 8 miles round trip for 9 years.   I was transferred to a school site and now my commute is 60 miles round trip.   With my achilles tear and shoulder surgery it is time for 1 out of my beloved 4 cars to go.   If I don't get what I am asking. I have no problem holding onto her until the right person who respects and wont mangle her with off road use or Rock Crawler crap comes around.   Please do not bid if you are going to abuse her.   I have literally only taken her off road on a flat trail 2 times since I have owned her.   Please look at the pictures closely.  some of the picures do not do her justice.  They say a thousand words on how she has been treated though.  U-joints and differential fluids were changed out a few months ago.  The motor purrs like a kitten and has no problems with 70 mph treks up and down the freeway.   I am an honest teacher and have done everything possible to list all the goods of this vehicle.   Now comes the things you can approve on.   The brights do not work.   Replaced both front head lamps which did not help. so it must be in the switch or relay.   A/C is all there. but is not working anymore.   I never needed it for I only spent 10 minutes round trip from house to my job.   The cassette player no longer works.   The odometer quit working in November. but I did keep track of minimal mileage with the trip computer.   I have proof of the odometer via my oil change milage sticker.   I have changed the oil 3 times over the 5554 miles.   That is about it!!!!  If I have left out anything I will update as I remember.   This does have power steering. tilt wheel. unroof. good working stock stereo.   Eveything is stock and California smog reliable on the engine.   Passed smog with flying colors last June!  I will not release this vehicle until cashier check clears bank. which could take up to 14 days.   When my bank calls and says it is good that is when you could have it picked up.   There is no warranty with this vehicle and no returns. sold "as is".   I have been as honest as I can and know it is going to make someone very happy.   Don't make me foolish offers for I have done my years of watching these on Ebay and know what the value of the truck is.   I will require a 500. 00 non-refundable deposit be placed on it within 48 hours of purchase.   Good luck and God Bless you and this vehicle!
