1980 Mercedes Benz 450 SL

This wonderful survivor is ready to hit the highways for many more miles of experiencing a true German classic.

This car has been well cared for over the years with most days and nights stored in a garage.

Besides the normal maintenance items such as oil changes and such. the vehicle has been well kept. The most recent items done were a new battery just a few weeks ago along with an oil and filter change.

Last week. a brand new convertible top along with rubber seals and cables were installed to the tune of almost $1. 00!!

The car starts and runs very well. A real highway cruiser!

Tires. brakes and shocks are all in good order. Several thousand dollars were spent a few years ago for an all new center link and steering coupler along with a careful front end alignment.

Both original equipment sunvisors were replaced about five years ago at an expense of $550.

The interior is in very good shape. The seats are great however some of the carpet is badly faded. yet not worn. This would allow a dying repair rather than replacement.

A very nice car cover is included as seen in the trunk picture.

The car was never re-painted and the overall fit and finish on the car are excellent. There is some fading on the roof and trunk. see pics.

All of the glass and chrome are in great shape. No cracks.

This is a super nice Mercedes ready for weekly or daily use!
