Something that makes this particular Lincoln so special is the fact that it was converted to a 1969 4-door convertible. Interestingly enough Lincoln had planned production from 1961 to 1969 to produce the 4-door Continental but had abruptly discontinued the line due to Federal highway safety laws during the late 1960 s. This Lincoln Continental started life as a 1966 Continental raised in California the overhaul was professionally done to convert over to a 1969 body making this car a truly rare build with the only other one ever produced being held in a museum with the exclusive use for a parade car only. This Lincoln still has the original numbers matching 462 cubic inch V 8 and original automatic transmission. This car was considered at one time to be the peak of luxury and arguable still is with the unbelievably comfortable leather interior that hugs you as you ride out. This car is complete with multiple luxury options include the passenger mirror which was a very expensive option back in 1966 as well as full power windows vent windows and tilt steering. Both seats are fully adjustable with power assist and complete with the center console. Possible the most impressive feature however is the absolutely stunning Mediterranean Iridescent paint job which was painted in a near mirror finish and when accented with the beautiful Parchment Vinyl top really shows off a certain sense of class.
