For sale. The rarest car BMC ever produced. Chassis no. UAAS 3/1686 UK registration 474 UYP

Please find below detailed description of each aspect of the car. Re offered as purchaser . well. just disappeared!

The car is taxed and drives beautifully with the overdrive sliding into play easily and making 80 mph cruising a reality. This car is a real pleasure to drive and because of the large range of cars sharing common parts spares are readily available.

Carpets.  These are perfect

Woodwork This is in perfect original condition.

Switches and steering wheel are as new

Headlining is original and superb but has two small holes where I think a map reading light or strap may have been fixed.

The interior is original and in truly amazing condition 

Body; This is in perfect rust free original conditional and would seem to have never been touched or repaired. You will cut your fingers on the wheel archeds. they are as they left the factory.

Paint; This is worn but seems to be original and opinion is divided as to repaint it or polish and leave it.

Tyres;  These are new radials

Brakes; These are working extremely well with no noise. judder and are straight and true

 Engine; Fantastic. Starts instantly. Runs smoothly with manufacturers oil pressure and runs cool.  

Exhaust is standard steel

Electrics; All good. charges well. switchgear all works and is as new. Battery is in Ist class condition Seals; these are fine. The front and rear screen seals are hard and a little perished but new screen seals are in the boot. The door seals are in good order

Rust There is NONE!!!

Chassis This has never been treated and is still in the factory protective seal and is totally rust free having never been welded that I can see

The car was ordered by a US serviceman for delivery to Belgium. He was the posted to Japan ( hence the Jap no plates) The car then was shipped to Maryland USA. The car now has a British (EU) V5 registration document. All British (EU) taxes are paid and the car is taxed and is in use hence mileage is approximate

It is believed to be 1 of 3 or 4 lhd man o/d left in the world.  

All assistance given to overseas buyers including longer storage whilst they sort out shipping. Full access to a 4 poster ramp by appointment. Car is located 20 minutes from Bristol Airport
