Hi and welcome to my auction for my lovely 1967 Morris Minor Traveller.

I purchased this car last year from a widower. The car had belonged to her late husband. a blacksmith who had used this car as his daily driver. As such the car had been maintained to a great standard however was showing its age cosmetically.

I took the car on as a project after being made redundant and I have spent the last year restoring her to a standard that I am sure most will be happy with. The car is very clean and is a great daily driver starting first time with a little choke. I have commuted to work a number of times approx 70 miles motorway and A/B roads. The car is solid underneath with absolutely no rust or rot. The wood again is in fantastic condition with no rot or soft spots. The wood was stripped by myself (first job) treated with 5-6 coats of cuprinol 5* and then 5-6 coats of clear Danish oil. The new owner may with to Varnish. I prefered the natural look of the oil.

The car comes with great history with a hand written notebook detailing trips. servicing and jobs by the previous owner. I have kept this journal up and will come with the car. MOT July 2017 Tax exempt.

A list of Jobs/improvements is as follows:

New paint job (Approx 10 coats of cellulose paint. 5 Primer and at least 5 top coats) Professionally buffed and polished.
4 Brand new Toyo 155/14 tyres.
Brand new Wheel cylinders. Brake shoes (rear) Brake pads (Front).
Poly tie bar bushes.
Spark Plugs.
Dizzy cap and rotor arm.
HT Leads.
Brand new water pump.
Stainless sill trims.
Chrome mirror.

Brand new carpet set.
Brand new old school door seals.
Brand new pedal rubbers.

Upgrades to the original vehicle include:

Disc brake set up to the front.
Front anti roll bar.
Remote brake master cylinder reservoir.
Telescopic damper conversion front and rear.
Alternator.
Unleaded Cylinder head.
Larger Carb. Full Stainless steel exhaust system.

The car does have 1 or 2 issues as you would expect but these are very minor. There is a suspension bush squeak from the front Off side. This I believe is the torsion bar bush that has dried out. Pennies to replace however does improve with a squirt of oil. The chrome work although good would need to be replaced IF the owner is looking for a show car. If not it is very respectable for a daily driver. Engine bay could do with detailing.

Other then that this is a great car that is not hiding anything. Is solid as a rock and can be driven anywhere in the country. I am sure of that. Not the usual rubbish needed restored or the over priced 20k nonsense being asked for by some. I am looking for £5500 for this great wee car. Happy to be available for any inspection. Cash on collection no paypal thanks.

Thanks for looking.
