1967 Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto

1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto. This car has just been completed after undergoing a full restoration. I purchased the car in 2012. as a rolling chassis after a restoration was started by the previous owner. The last five pictures are illustrations of what the car looked like when I purchased it. after it had been painted by the PO and it had sat for awhile. along with boxes of parts from California. It has since been completed and updated with many new parts and rebuilt as needed. The engine is now a 2 liter with Euro 1750 cams. electronic/MSD ignition and electronic tach. along with a rebuilt head. The transmission is a later 2 liter version that was completely rebuilt with all new synchros & new clutch kit & converted to a hydraulic system. The suspension is upgraded with Centerline springs. Bilstein shocks. limited slip diff and all new tie rod ends and other components. The braking system was converted to a hydraulic. single brake booster type system. The interior is completely new. as well as the convertible top and boot. It now sits on 15 x 7 Panasport wheels with brand new Dunlop Direzza tires. The bare metal paint job. including engine bay. dash and trunk was completed while still owned by the P O and the car has been stored inside since and still has a very high gloss and a great appearance to it. as the pictures indicate. The engine is jetted/tuned to high altitude specs and will need to be re-adjusted for proper lower elevation operation. I have modified many of the car`s components. but have done nothing that couldn`t be reversed to stock specs. if wanted. although I don`t know why anyone would want to. the car is awesome.

The interior new parts are as follows: Carpet kit. floor mats. dash pad. knee bolsters. seat upholstery. door cards. convertible top. top boot. all weather stripping. window felt. trunk carpet. pedal pads. heater tubes. windshield gasket. windshield washer foot pump. door sill chrome. all gear shift boots and shifter knob.

Mechanical new parts : electronic ignition & MSD controller. cap. wires & plugs. brake booster. fuel sender. clutch master. brake master. clutch slave. fuel pump. suspension springs. Bilstein shocks. spring pads. adjustable upper control arms. brake hoses & pads. tie rod ends. limit straps and stops. engine and transmission mounts. speedo cable. water pump & fan blade. ignition switch. dry cell battery. carburators & mounts. Magnaflow stainless exhaust. drive shaft u-joint & flex disk. cooling system hoses. thermostat & cap. windshield wiper motor.

Exterior new parts : front grille & Alfa badge. headlight covers. exterior mirrors. Euro taillight lenses. front turn signal lenses. Alfa trunk script. Pininfarina side badges. chrome wiper blades.

Rebuilt & or replaced : limited slip diff installed. radiator re-cored. transmission updated & rebuilt with new synchros. cylinder head rebuilt with new valve guides and seals. charging system converted to alternator. ceramic coated exhaust headers. polished cam cover. all stainless straightened & polished.

I am sure that I am missing some items but with a list as long as this. it is difficult to include everything. I have tons of receipts for the above listed items. which will go with the car. Inspections are allowed and encouraged. before the the end of auction. As the car is nearly 50 years old. I am not sure of the correct mileage. The speedo I received with the car states 103. 00 miles. which seems reasonable for this machine. There is no warranty expressed or implied. the car is sold as is where is. I also reserve the right to end this auction early. as it is also for sale locally.
