1982 Chevrolet C30 Tow truck.

Just arrived from the USA.

Comes with import approval for rego.

1982 Chevy C30 Tow truck/Rollback with Tilt/Slide and crash pickup.

  Chevy 454 with 4 Speed Manual transmission.
Power steering. power disc brakes.
Plenty of tread left on the tyres.

PTO ( mechanical best one's to have) and til/slide/rollback and crash works perfectly.
Winch is hydraulic and not electric.
2 of the lift hydraulic seals are leaking and require new seals. easy fix.

Motor is strong without any rattles or noise. idles excellent. ( missing air cleaner)
Drove it around for about 10-15mins and it drove nicely and steered well.
But the brakes would get stuck now and then. so the brakes will need attention.
It has been sitting around in CA for a few years so that's probably why.
 
Could drive it home but the brakes are a bit of a concern.

It has a Jerr-Dan alloy tray which is one of the best in the USA.    Not steel or aftermarket junk.
Tray is 94inchs wide x 17ft Long.

The body/fenders are straight very nice but will need a decent paint job.
The only rust is on bonnet which has a few sports. easy fix.

Interior is not to bad for it's age.

Easy conversion to Right hand drive or rego now if you wanted to as it's more than 30 years old.

Shipping out of the Long Beach. CA USA every month for the last 20+ years so
