For sale is my 1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV in Ginger Bronze Metallic with a Saddle Custom Landau roof.
7. 6 litre V8 with C6 autobox. the engine and gearbox are probably worth the starting price!
This car comes with MOT until November 2013 and TAX until May 2013. I can tax for the winning bidder at cost. but this will be done on full payment of tax disk only.
Originally registed in Indiana. this Mark IV was imported in 2009 by myself. it was taken to my local American car specialist for storage and mechanical work. I am the first UK owner with no previous UK keepers and it was first registered here in Dec 2012.
The interior is in great condition for a 37 year old car. It has brown velour fabrics with matching carpet and headlining. The boulstering on the front seats is showing very little signs of wear. The mileage is currently showing just under 3270 miles. though I believe that the car has covered 103. 70 miles over its life.
This car starts and drives well. but unfortunately. the body work lets it down slightly. There is cracked paint and rust on the leading edge of the bonnet and along the Passenger side rear quarter. The Wheel arches have suffered with rust from before i imported it. The arches probably could be easily sorted. but the car would require a full respray. Mechanically this car is sound. and apart from some problem areas with bodywork. it would be a great classic American car for shows or events.
This car has a MartiReport to confirm specifications of the build sheet.
Reciepts for work carried out since importing arre in excess of £1500.
Mot history available. however. this is only from 2012 (first registration) and has only covered 20 miles since being in the UK.
Viewing is welcome and recomended at L36 6AD Mon-Fri 9am-6pm or weekends by prior arrangement.
